  1. WPA2 is the successor to WPA and is currently the most widely used Wi-Fi security protocol. It uses the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to encrypt the data transmitted over the network. AES is a strong encryption algorithm and is considered to be unbreakable. WPA2 also includes a message integrity check to ensure that the data has not been tampered with. However, WPA2 is vulnerable to some attacks, such as brute force attacks, which try to guess the password.

Wi-Fi Protected Access III (WPA3):

  1. WPA3 is the latest Wi-Fi security protocol and is designed to address the weaknesses of WPA2. It uses a stronger encryption algorithm called Simultaneous Authentication of Equals (SAE) to protect the network. SAE uses a more secure method for exchanging keys between devices, making it more difficult for attackers to guess the password. WPA3 also includes protection against offline dictionary attacks, making it more difficult for attackers to crack the password.
